Good News/Updates....and Info to help you!!!

Hi all,

I have recieved a letter from my county assistance office full of GOOD NEWS, that I wanted to share!!! We all know that I have been struggeling so hard for too long to over come our past and be able to get back on my feet to a happy future.Well as Murphy's Law proclaims that anything that can go wrong indeed will, & it HAS. We overcame & got away from my abussive ex,just to continue being displaced and hurt emotionally.We also know that I am unable to work currantly and have applied for assistance but have not recieved it.I had to apply and RE-apply many times, well finally I have been approved for cash assistance help.I had to keep pushing and fighting my county assistance office but FINALLY I have been approved for temporary cash assistance.I know my monthly cash wont be much (my letter says I will be getting baout $300 a month) but it will help me and my daughter alot in the sense that we have had ZERO income so long.I wont be able to afford things we need still sense I will need to save as much of it as I can while tryn to pay off my debts caused from my Ex & no medical insurance.BUT now I may be able to get housing assistance a little easier so I need to go Monday and report that I am now elidgable for cash assistance. I want to thank EVERYONE who has kept us in your prayers.I pray God keeps us on this path as it is looking like this may be the path we need to get the help we need & soon be able to stand on our feet again.I hope I am not jumping the gun and getting excited too soon but we have been thru so much pain that this seems so Promiseing.

My daughter had another growth spurt and is in need of clothes and shoes, but I cant afford it.I myself are in such need for clothes too but my child's needs come before me.I have checked out a site that I pray wil be able to help me.I joined Wish Upon A Hero, my mom heared about this site and checked out before telling me, she hoped I would be able to find a hero to assist me with my finacial needs. (My mom has been granted wishes on that site to help my grandparents whom need help just as bad as I do.) Well I made a wish, I made it small, but very important. ThHHd dwww.wishuponahero.com is a GREAT site. I do have to say it is very similar to this site, in the sense that there are alot of great people who want to help others. You do need to proove your need is a real need or want.(When you sign up scan a copy of your bill you need help with and add it to your profile--there is a specific space for this and it is private only the site owners see it to verify you are you and your need is real. If you need help you may want to concider checking ou WUAH.(EXSPECIALLY if you need finacial help, not just resources.---like me I have exshuasted all my resources but still am in need of help financially.)

I know what its like to need help, so please if you need to talk or need help yourself let me know & I can be your friend and do my best to help you.

Sorry for the hassles with the forms. I haven't been living at the beach for many years and last time I really sun bathed at a beach it was very hot. My sister and I kept getting in the showers to cool off verses drinking water. I can't sunbathe anymore as I got skin cancers from it. Had a great tan when I was 29. But I paid for it and this was before the days of good sunblocks. I was lucky as the times when I lived at the beach the rent was cheaper than now. I would have to win the lotto to move back there. And vacations! What are they? I have not had a vacation in about 20 years.
I had that problem with the internet for a few days. The mornings were great for getting things done and then it dragged in the afternoon . So I understand about slow page loading. I am just about to call it a night and see how manna goes.
I get up and walk around as I can't sit here all day .
I am glad to hear from you and I am doing okay. Just trying to make it day by day..

 in response to Starshine...   I think they wont allow it because they are too lazy to fill out the forms as you give them the answers. According to them its because they need signature,as well as copy of proof of income & such.
That sounds like a wonderfull dream. I wish I could go to the beach,the last time I went to the Beach I was pregnant with my daughter and I was misserable cuz I was having braxton hix the whole time we were on vacation.I love collecting seashells when I go to the beach & I love to just lay out and relax on the beach. Unfortunately I dont live any where near the Ocean and I cant afford a place to live or bills let alone to try planing a vacation.
Im so tired,Ive been so busy.My daughter and I have had to walk to the Library again so I could check the bullitine bored for money makeing oppertunities.I have to do it 6 days a week in hopes Ill find a babysitting job or something to help me make a little money.Also while im in town at the library im looking for a place to rent.Well Im going to go check a few things,my internet is being so slow, so its makeing me even more tired just waiting on pages to load.

That would be upsetting .And I had one of those friends who had a hubby where any of her friends had to leave before he got home. My dream was a good one. I dreamed of being at the beach, driving right one the beach by the water with friends I use to hang out with there. I could hear the roar of the ocean waves and then I woke up. Dream is suppose to signify a calm week as I looked up the meaning of it. But it really was a dream about being were I love and missed.
I hope the rest of the week is better for you too.

 in response to Starshine...   Monday was a crazy long day I got put on hold for 45min. then disconnected, I sent an email and re-applied so hopefully that works.I was I tried 6 more time to reach by phone but was running out of time.(my old neighbor isn't aloud to help me any more her husband is being not a very nice person,so when she does help we have to do it when he is at work.)I finally got thru and all they could do was tell me to RE-apply via web or mail,because they cant do anything over the phone.They are suppose to be sending me an application in the mail.
Was your dream a good one?
Ugh.....I hope the rest of the week is better court was CRAZY & upsetting!

 in response to Starshine...   Thanks for the advice.That reminds me of something similar my mom advised me to do about a relationship.She wrote down everything she wanted and needed in a comppanion and put it under her pillow and would pray every night that God read her note and direct her compaion into her life and 8months later she met my dad & he was exactly what she wrote. So I think I will give both a try. (not so much the companion one my mom suggested as Im not ready for a relationship yet but I may start it and just not address it to God yet.)
And Thank you.I pray I get some where tomorrow on a possative outlook.If I dont I can always try again Monday.(if I have acess to a phone monday.--if not I guess I could always email them...actually I will call & email tomorrow.)

 in response to PittsburghMomma...   Yes it is always great hearing success stories no matter whether it is finding work, getting assistance, finding a place to live or anything positive lifts us up. Good luck with your appointment Sat. and get some rest. I have to do dishes and make things for Sat. I am praying and holding good thoughts your day and success story comes soon.
A long time ago I did a treasure map kind of. I wanted to move and wrote down what I wanted in my new apartment, upstairs, all electric, bright and airy , two bedroom and a kitchen window and storage. But I forgot to put down garage. I put it in a drawer and only after I moved did I find what I wrote down is the very same in the apartment I found
Try writing down what you want. You might not get it but I hope you get what you need and then some more.

 in response to Starshine...   I love hear success stories it makes me feel like Im not praying for false hope. Hearing sucess stories gives me strength and courage to keep praying to get help so I can be the next success story...Im praying my day will come soon!
Well its getting late, I gotta get up early and try fighting for my medical insurance again, cuz the doctor here that has a sono-tech in his office wont allow non-insured paitents sonograms he refers them to the only near hospital with a maternity station (about 1hr drive away.) well I cant go to that hospital,so I need to get my insurance back. So I should be heading to sleep here I gotta get up and start calling at 7am when they open.

 in response to PittsburghMomma...   She became a member here hopefuldella and I gave her information and so did others then she left did Wuah came back . So I could not help money wise but information and tried to get my ex boss to get gas cards for her, he is better off than me but no go.

Im glad you were able to check your WUAH and see people youve tried to help or spoken to have been helped.

 in response to PittsburghMomma...   Thank you so much as this is so much easier now to get into WUAH. And see some wishes granted especially a Christmas wish for a homeless lady who is here and her family got to get off the streets for Christmas Day as it said granted. Pretty good, they needed the break from being not able to shower or clean up things many take for granted.

But I was able to view your wish from your link and you have gotten some good replies. Now to check if any was granted. Good luck with the wish there and here too. I am glad you found both sites too. Miracles do happen and sometimes it just takes time for you to get what you need and I am so happy you are getting assistance after this long.

go into your WUAH account (logg-in) then across top of page it has the butons for "home,ABOUT,ect" they are an orage color, bellow them is a gray box and it says My Account, click it, on the left side it says account settings and the last one in that catagory is "change password". I hope that helps you so you can be active on that site too! it is such a wonderfull site.
I pray for my "earth angels" or "Heros" as we still need help, but I am so excited things have a bright spot right now. We still need all the help we can and I still do everything I can to try to get us the help.Im glad Ive found both this & WUAH sites cuz both are helping me keep faith that my prayers can be answered and miricales do happen!

That is wonderful news for you and your daughter. You finally are getting some help. I hope the hero's here and at WUAH can help you in getting your wishes for clothes for your daughter and yourself fulfilled. I haven't been to WUAH as my password is such a goofy one they gave me I have to look it up each time. There must be a way to change it to something you can remember it. I know of quite a few people getting cards for work pants and other things. Good luck and hope all works out for you and your daughter.
